LOL…my sinful pleasure is the nutella crepes! LOL I could die after eating them and all would still seem okay! 🙂 Such a guilty pleasure, but truly to die for. The quality here is unmatched by anyone in the area. The sandwiches, salads, quiches etc are all delicious. You walk in once and know you will be returning.

    2. Sandra P. Caroline's Creperie

The sandwiches and salads are my absolute favorite. I’m not so big on sweets but the crepes look gorgeous and I’m tempted every time I see one. I know they have non sweet crepes but ive never given them a try yet. The sandwiches are just perfect with a good salad. Prices aren’t cheap but you pay to walk away feeling great about what you just paid for. I recommend this to anyone who likes good eating.

The Brie, Pear & Bacon salad is simply delicious. Probably one of the best tasting combinations I’ve had on a salad. For desert I recommend the banana and nutella crepe if you’re into sweets and rich tasting pastries. Definitely a gem in New Canaan and well known in town. The prices are how do I say…New Canaan. The food is excellent and you pay for what you would expect to eat when you want good quality. I’ve read bogus reviews about the cost but in all honesty, if you are looking at price, then you really shouldn’t be at a Creperie that specializes in French cuisine which everyone knows is considered high end and elegant. I for one love paying for good food, it’s paying for bad food that upsets me. 5 stars for quality and presentation.

The crepes are obviously the reason people know of them but the quiches and sandwiches are worth mentioning also. I always order the prosciutto sandwich with butter and greens. Absolutely perfect. I totally get why the French put butter on a ham sandwich with lettuce. Simplicity is always the most sophisticated route. If you like crepes, you’ll love the menu. From salty crepes down to every sweet temptation, you’ll pretty much find your poison. Great place in New Canaan and very comparable to Aux Delice in Greenwich. The French know pastries and refinement more than anyone in my opinion. Recommend to anyone who loves good food.
