One of the best locations in Newtown with a really nice view of the center. Great food and you can stay a night. I’ve never stayed but it’s a nice place to have in town.

Newtown is a gem that has been overlooked by so many. Unfortunately, most will remember this town for the horrible tragedy that took place in Sandy Hook and not for the charm and unity that defines the town and its residents. The Inn has one of the best locations and hosts some great events.
Great food and well known by the locals. Have never stayed over night but I think it’s a fun concept.
Gorgeous photos! Moving to bethel this month so i’ve been searching for some nice places in the area. Haven’t found too much in bethel so ive been exploring newtown and danbury. Looks good.
My folks favorite place in Newtown. Only two places they eat at here…The Inn and Kings…which is known for having the best breakfast in the state.
I must say that I was expecting just another local place (Newtown lacks a bit) but I was very impressed. My husband really enjoyed his rack of lamb and I loved the lemon scallops. Casual place with high end cuisine. I would describe it as American with some European influence. Beautiful area right in the heart of town, very scenic and charming.
Absolutely amazing. Beautiful aesthetics, great location, great food and wine with top notch service and quality ingredients. Lots to do here, not just an average eatery. Enjoy some original art over some drinks and a meal, host your event, a private party, or a gathering. A very fun place that even offers rooms for overnight or weekend stays. Live shows and entertainment also. More people need to find out about this place! Highly recommend.
I totally Agree and I also pass by the center daily and never realized this was a restaurant. Glad to see some local places on here also…Great site. The Instagram page looks great too! I’m looking forward to seeing more new places in Fairfield County.
